GuideStar’s mission is to promote philanthropy by helping donors, institutional funders, and charities become more informed, effective, and efficient. Our own Tony Poderis has been an associate of Resource Development Network for several years after having been Director of Development of The Cleveland Orchestra for twenty years.  His web page is a “don’t miss” stop on your nonprofit and fund raising Internet journey.  Lots of articles, tips & techniques, free pro-forma handouts for your next meeting and excerpts from his book “It’s a Great Day to Fund-Raise.” NCIB’s mission is to promote informed giving and to enable more contributors to make sound giving decisions. NCIB believes that donors are entitled to accurate information about the charitable organizations that seek their support. NCIB also believes that well-informed givers will ask questions and make judgments that will lead to an improved level of performance by charitable organizations.
